Things are kinda good

There's nothing like spending time with a long lost friend when you've been having a bad week. Recently my good friend Kevin moved to Ventura from New York. He drove through LA yesterday on his way out to the wilderness and treated me to a Ted Leo and the Pharmacists show. We decided to walk to the venue a good two miles away, and after a few beers and the show we walked back. It was a ridiculous amount of fun catching up and listening to good music. I hadn't seen him in well over a year and so much has changed for the both of us. I'm pretty stoked that he's living on the left coast for a while. Monday we're going to see Fun play at Spaceland
